Kontinentalist is hiring a Community and Digital Marketing Manager to look after the company’s outreach and engagement efforts as the company seeks to develop a community around data visualisation regionally, and work with cause-aligned partners. The manager will also look after our digital marketing campaigns, helping to plan, write copy, and explore ways to engage with and widen our readership.

Responsibilities
- Cultivate a strong network of relationships with existing and potential partners, and regional prospects that share the company’s purpose and mission
- Design and drive a range of activities and initiatives to achieve the company’s purpose and mission in relation to community development, including but not limited to digital/live events, and prospecting potential partnerships and opportunities.
- Strategise, plan, and execute the company’s marketing campaigns around our offerings, such as events, stories, workshops, and other miscellaneous projects.
- Collaborate with various team members, namely the editorial lead, to plan and track the company’s content calendar, ensuring a regular stream of content on our social channels.
- Supervise and monitor day-to-day social media management, including copywriting, coordinating design of collaterals.
- Monitor our website and social media performance, and review results to iterate and improve our marketing strategies.
- Oversee all efforts to drive external visibility, including the submission of awards and competitions, assessing inbound requests, and seeking media features and promotions
What we look out for
Job experience
Our ideal candidate should have the following job experience:
- Two to three years working experience in a content production or media company, or in a similar role and function if not a media company
- Have experience taking charge and driving projects, and a good understanding of project management and coordinating between various stakeholders.
- Experience with managing and planning content for social media channels and platforms
Core competencies
- Strong interpersonal and networking skills, both offline and online
- Good understanding of regional news trends and companies, especially in relation to the non-profit sector.
- Familiarity with day-to-day social listening and trend monitoring
- Familiarity with various social media platform formats and algorithms, with higher priority placed on Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn
- Familiarity with performance analytics tools such as Google Analytics
